This concept map helps me place learning theories in relation to each other and in relation to the topics in our class. For example, I placed didactic coming from New Learning because it was discussed in the book, and in the book all three - didactic, transformative, and authentic learning all have their place in education. When I consider didactic education, a picture of a traditional classroom comes to mind, hence the connection to traditional instruction. When I decided to create a concept map I thought it would be fairly simple and straightforward, but it proved to be a lot more difficult than I had imagined. I know that it can grow to include many more theories, so I hope to continue adding and making connections among the theories
